Surrounded by the Lighthouse and Santa Ana Castle, the Roquetas de Mar Amphitheater contributes toward the township’s cultural development by creating a unique outdoor space by the sea with a capacity for 900 spectators.

The Residential Area
The Roquetas de Mar Residential Area is clear evidence of the town’s specific weight in the tourist industry. The largest concentration of lodging and services in all Almería’s province is found in this setting facing the beach.
St. Ana-s Castle
Also known as “Las Roquetas Castle”, it is an 16th century fortress that served as a defensive stronghold and refuge for the town’s inhabitants. In 2003, it was restored and is currently one of the municipality’s most representative exhibition halls.
Located next to Santa Ana Castle, it is one of the best preserved historic buildings. Today, it is a magnificent exposition hall divided into two areas where numerous works of art are put on display
The Roquetas Bullring houses both bullfights and music concerts. With a seating capacity of almost 8000 spectators, it also has a Museum and theme areas around it like restaurants, bars and other businesses.
Playa Serena II Beach
It is one of the best equipped beaches in the area, located next to a large urban complexwith all sorts of oﬀers for leisure.
